Original title: How to connect Canon LBP 2900 to windows 8.1? I am trying to install printer in my notebook. But when I run the installation It is unable to detect the printer. And While installing, I get this error- 'Canon LBP 2900 RPC server process' is blocked by firewall. It ask if I want to remove the block against it. I have tried both 'yes' and 'no' to continue installation.

But in the next stage it can't detect printer. I've tried to manually configure windows firewall.

I tried to install printer driver after turning off firewall too but I didn't help. Windows is updated.

I am using the right drivers. I have anti-virus installed. I tried to install the printer by turning off anti-virus too. But I can't install the driver yet. I have also tried windwos 7 comparability mode. And tried to install it with administrative privilege.
