Hope you solved problems, if not, here what I did had xw4400 fully working at first run, excluding graphics, she had a quadro3400, I knew this will never work in osx, so I got a gts210, to try, works perfectly chameleon GraphicsEnabler=Yes with double monitor 1920x1200 + 1600x1200, ok it's a 30$ card, but solves the problem. I have a fx1500 perfectly working with leopard, so should work, needs some injector though, try different ones. /System/Library/Extensions/BCM5722D.kext works perfectly, maybe you've got a hacked one DSDT.aml goes nowhere with the Xw4400 & not needed, it's all calls to SSDT tables & external, you'll get lost, let it go. Stay away from ###### update to 10.7.3 no problem slow disk, very slow, this I'm trying to understand.

Hi everyone.I try to install a osx lion 10.7.2 on this PC: HP workstation xw-4400 whit this everest report: Updated the Xw4400 to Mountain Lion, everything works perfectly excluding sleep, needs cpu power management disabler, probably can be easily solved with some ssdt tampering but for the moment it isn't worth to. If Os/x cannot see your disk, check in the bios what's the option set for SATA, if it's RAID, select 'separate IDE controller' instead Yes, it's not mistyping, I'm speaking of a Xw4400, the Xw8400 in my signature is another system. Ie same mainboard? Just different intel cpus? Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, I'm really searching for some help with my 'project' and hope some of you can help me out with this one! It's all coming down to a not starting 'Finder' The full story, I bought a Mac Pro 1.1 (2006) a few day's ago. All stock, dual Intel Xeon 3Ghz, 5GB Ram and the stock video card (256MB).

(Lion freshley installed) I wanted to upgrade to OSX El Capitain, and after a lot of research and a lot. Yes a lot of trouble in making it all work I finally got it.

I've thrown in a Geforce GTX 760 2GB Jetstream. Samsung Clp 315 Reset Firmware Xerox. Couldn't wait to get cables for powering it, so I frankensteind it all with a second PSU. Installed Lion on a Samsung 850 EVO, and then followd a tutorial on how to install el capitain using Piker's boot. After 12 hours non stop messin around it worked, only after some time the mac froze and rebooted.

I noticed that maby Google Chrome caused this to happen, and when using Safari it would work without any problem. I even can play 4K flawless. But still after some time it would crash, I monitored the CPU and Ram Usage, but there wasn't anything crazy happening at those things.. Didn't really got the time to instal other apps.
